Right now, in Quebéc, there is a strike that has been happening for over 100 days.
Protestors have been working to fight a potential tuition hike of 75% over the next five years. Demonstrations have been occurring every night. The government has been trying to suppress activism – especially by passing Loi 78, a draconian law preventing protesting within 50 yards of a university and preventing large bodies from being able to gather.
